The Old Apple Loft is a two storey annex converted from its orignal use as an old cider house. It is attached to a former Geogian farmhouse which in its history has also served as a Pottery, tea Rooms, Shop and Post Office to the village. It can sleep up to 7 people, plus a childs bed or cot can be accommodated in the second bedroom if required.

The accommodation sits in the centre of the village adjacent to the old village cross, and is within 20 metres of the village shop, church and local Westbury Inn which serves food.

The Old Apple Loft is self-catering and the main entrance in on the first floor, reached by stone steps. It comprises the following accommodation
(First Floor) :
  • Entrance Porch (with space for boots and coats)
  • Lounge with seating for 7, colour TV, video and DVD player, double sofa bed to sleep two people, floor to ceiling cupboard space and wardrobe, stairs down to ground floor. Door to bathroom.
  • Full fitted kitchen/diner (including full size cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave), with gas fire, dining table and chairs to seat 7. Dual aspect windows. Door to Bedroom 3
  • Bathroom with white bathroom suite, shower over bath, and toilet
  • Bedroom 3 with double bed, fitted wardrobe and chest drawers. En-suite shower room with toilet and sink.

(Ground Floor) :

  • Bedroom 1 with double bed, double french doors opening out to outdoor seating area
  • Bedroom 2 with single bed, and optional additional childs bed or cot if requested
  • Shower room with sink and toilet
  • Utility area with belfast sink and washing machine

In addition, the accommodation provides :

  • Gas central heating and hot water
  • Price inclusive of all bedding, towels and linen
  • Price inclusive of electricity and heating costs
Outside there is a stone paved patio area reserved for the use of the guests of the apartment and is partly sheltered by a very old fig tree. Garden furniture is available. There is parking for two cars within the grounds of the property.

Baby equipment and travel cot can be supplied if required (please request when booking so that I can have it ready).

Please note that for the enjoyment of future guests, the accommodation is non-smoking.

Small dogs are permitted by prior arrangement (please enquire when booking).
